It’s been almost 15 years, but we are finally going to Disneyland in a week!
When I thought about what I wanted to do for my 30th birthday, nothing seemed right. All I wanted to do was go to Disneyland.
So with a little magic, we were able to make it work!
We haven’t told my daughter Ms. Marvel, however, but she does keep talking about how she wants “to go to Disneyland today!” We always respond with “we’ll think about it.”
But for Mickey Mouse’s birthday on November 18th, I had to do a fun video where she thought she was saying Happy Birthday to Mickey Mouse!
We plan to keep it a secret until we get there.
(And don’t worry, we will be sure to film and document adventures there to share with you all!)
If you’re ever wanting to do a fun Disneyland trip surprise too, I recommend you check out Get Away Today and use my code TwoGeeks to get yourself an additional $10 off your Southern California Vacation!
I’ve got so many plans of what I want to do while we are there, but we are only there for two days! Thankfully we are going to help maximize our time by getting the Max Pass to use on the Disneyland App. But mostly I’m excited to see the look on Ms. Marvel’s face when she sees the castle and meets Mickey! (Mickey and Minnie are her favorite!)
I’ve done quite a bit of shopping too at the Disney Store and the Shop Disney website to prepare (thank goodness for Black Friday sales!), but I had to catch myself a few times to make sure I wasn’t using all of our spending money for our trip! So we are prepared with costumes for Ms. Marvel to prance around the parks in.

I took Ms. Marvel early to the Disney Store so we could do the opening ceremony! They gave her a fun key to remember helping to open the store AND she got to be the first guest inside for the day!
Since it’s been so long since I’ve been there, are there any new things that you think I shouldn’t miss? Please let me know in the comments or send me an email! I’d love to know!
